I have joined Jason Yudoff and the New Hotness, an amazing Funk/Rock artist who's latest album has been selected for the official 2008 Grammy Ballot in 4 categories, including Best New Artist and Album of the Year! The Funky Fritters are a powerhouse 11-member band playing New Orleans, Mardi Gras, blues, brass, rock, R&B, jazz and gospel music. With new members, including Alligator recording/worldwide-touring artist Michael Hill and the notorious John Zych from The Big Cats, the band is sounding better than ever! Teaching News

Hey Everyone,

Sorry for the disappearance... As some of you know, I was in the process of searching for a new teaching position. While I loved the staff and students at Achievement First Bushwick Middle, I felt that middle school was not the right fit for my skills and my goals. So, as I continued to perform occasionally, I devoted almost all of my free time to job hunting. I am proud to announce that I will be the band director over at International Arts and Business School, a small high school in the George Wingate Campus in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
